During our stay to explore the nearby Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine, we enjoyed the historical charm and beautifully furnished antique decor throughout the property. The breakfast burritos from the food cart were delicious and added a nice touch to our mornings. It was also nice that we could easily walk into town to explore. The only downside was that parking could be a bit challenging, especially for guests with mobility issues.

    soundproofing issues

The breakfast service offered a variety of options, all of which were well-prepared. I appreciated the attention to cleanliness in our room, which created a welcoming environment. The outdoor seating area provided a lovely space to enjoy the mountain setting.

The room lacked sufficient soundproofing, leading to some disturbances at night.

    family-friendly room
    helpful staff
    delicious breakfast
    thin walls
    some noise

Our family had a wonderful stay! The hotel has so much character and is full of history, which the kids found really fascinating. Our room was spacious, with a private bathroom and a small kitchenette that made it easy to prepare snacks for the kids. The staff were incredibly friendly, always willing to help and share local tips. The kids loved the breakfast from the food truck across the street, the fresh cinnamon rolls were a big hit!

The walls are a bit thin, so we could hear some noise from adjoining rooms.

Staying here was a blast! We loved relaxing in the garden area and chilling out in the leisure room, just soaking in the unique vibes. The only thing I'd note is that the room curtains could use a little updating, but it didn't drag down our awesome experience one bit. 🌼

    cozy bed

The room was really unique, decorated with vintage vibes from when it was a hospital. Super clean, and the bed was cozy. It had cool antique furnishings, which made it feel like a step back in time. The only downside was that it didn’t have an elevator, so be ready to carry your bags up. Still, it was a neat experience overall!
